Make A Password Protected Folder Using WinRAR

If you want to make a folder password protected how you do that?Now you can do that thing by using WinRAR.WinRAR is a famous software that use to compress files and folders.So using this software you can compress your big files to smaller size and it will free your disk space.and also if you want to move your files to a another PC this will be helpful to you.You can download the latest WinRAR software from their website.So there are some many advanced features available in this software.but this article will focus on how to compress a file using a Password protected.

First Select a Folder that you want to Password Protect.Right Clcik On It and select Add to Archive.













You can select Different Options from here.like you can give a file name to compress file.You can select compress Method like that.



















So lets move on to password thing.right?

Select ADVANCED tab.



there you see a button called "SET PASSWORD"-->Press it.















Enter your password there and Press OK.















Then Again Press the OK in main RAR window.Thats it.

Now if you try to Extract it ,it will ask you for a password..Now your files are safe...
